Natural disasters are on the rise in the Pacific Northwest, with statistics showing a significant increase in heatwaves, wildfires, floods, and ice storms, not to mention a pandemic. What's next‽ Well, It could very well be 'The Big One' we've been hearing about. Geologists predict a 1 in 3 chance of an 8.0+ Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake striking the Pacific Northwest in the next 50 years, making it more crucial than ever to prepare for the unexpected.

Did you know Oregon asks citizens to be self-sufficient for at least two weeks?

After 'The Big One', disaster responders will focus on 'doing the most good for the most people.' This means that for a while, individual households will be on their own. It's up to us to empower ourselves, our families, and our neighborhoods to be prepared. But how?

By having two weeks’ worth of water, food, and other essential supplies, your household can be self-sufficient in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. This not only supports your own well-being but also helps ease the burden on emergency responders and strained supply chains.
